Body Found in Charles River Wednesday to Get Autopsy This Week

State police detectives are investigating the details surrounding a man found dead in the Charles River on Wednesday morning.

State police detectives are investigating the details surrounding a man found dead in the Charles River on Wednesday morning, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office. 

A Boston University rowing coach first spotted a body in the water in the area of the Massachusetts Avenue bridge at 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning, said the DA's office.

The marine unit of the Massachusetts State Police responded and pulled a male body from the river, according to the DA's office.

The body has not yet been identified, but authorities said it doesn't appear to be that of missing 22-year-old Brown University student Sunil Tripathi, a spokesman from the DA's office said.
