Are You Looking Forward to Opening Day?

Today marks the beginning of another Red Sox season at Fenway Park.

If you're a business owner, you're probably looking forward to the annual groundswell of Sox fans coming into the neighborhood several nights a week.

If you're a resident, you might find the buzz exciting - or you might know better than to drive OR take the Green Line in the neighborhood on game nights.

Owner of Kenmore Square's Eastern Standard Garret Harker told the Boston Herald. he's hoping a new season brings in new fans and new interest in the neighborhood, after lackluster results last year lead to a drop in sales.

“There just wasn’t the intensity for the pregame and around the ball games,” Harker told the Herald. “Rather than the crowd that might order a rib eye and bottles of wine, it was more burgers and beers.”
