Sharon Rice Joins Hammond Residential’s Back Bay/Beacon Hill Office

Chestnut Hill, MA –  February 27, 2014 – Melissa Dunn, manager of Hammond Residential Real Estate’s Back Bay/Beacon Hill office, is pleased to announce that sales associate Sharon Rice has affiliated with Hammond. In her new role, Rice will assist clients from Hammond’s office located at 66 Beacon Street in Boston.

Rice is a longtime Boston resident who participates in many of Boston’s civic, historic, and arts organizations. In her spare time, she enjoys participating in fundraising events, playing tennis, entertaining, and she is a member of the Longwood Cricket Club and the Badminton & Tennis Club. Active within the community, Rice is a member of the Beacon Hill Civic Association, having co-chaired the Winter Ball, and she was also a sponsor of the Nichols House Holiday Tour. Rice holds a Bachelor’s degree from American University and a Master’s degree from Emerson College.

Prior to her career in real estate, Rice held a series of increasingly responsible positions in marketing and communications, both in New York City and Boston. She served as Vice President of Branding at Citibank, Chief Marketing Officer for MotherNature.com, and Director of Marketing & PR for the Boston Ballet. After transitioning to real estate, Rice was the exclusive listing agent for 108 Mount Vernon Street in Boston’s historic Beacon Hill neighborhood. She was responsible for assembling an award-winning design team to convert the building into seven limited edition luxury condominium residences, which sold for the highest price per square foot in the Beacon Hill condominium market at that time.
