Things to Know in Fenway-Kenmore Today, May 8: US Senate Debate Tonight

Find out what's happening in the neighborhood today.

1. Weather: The National Weather Service is predicting a cloudy day, with a high near 74 degrees. There's a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

2. US Senate Debate Tonight: The last debate before next week's special election to fill the U.S. Senate seat from Massachusetts is slated for tonight at 7 p.m. The debate will air live until 8 p.m. on WCVB (Channel 5). R.D. Sahl of Boston University will moderate. Read a preview here. 

3. Arrest for Assault: An alert was sent out to members of the Northeastern Community on Saturday morning about two sexual assaults that occured in the Mission Hill area early on Saturday morning. Police believe they have found the man responsible for the attacks. Read more here.
