This Week In Review July 30 to August 3

Here is what went on in town this week.

This was a busy week in the Fenway/Kenmore and we know it can be easy to fall behind on the news around town. Here are five stories we think you should take a look at:

1. : The Boston Red Sox and the Red Sox Foundation today announced that August is "Jimmy Fund Month," when the team and its philanthropic arm will support the partnership that began in 1953 by raising funds and enhancing care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

2. : Alternative news heavyweights, The Boston Phoenix and lifestyle mag, STUFF Magazine are merging into The Phoenix.
