Body Found in Charles River Tuesday Identified as Missing Grad Student

Authorities have identified the body found in the Charles River Tuesday morning as missing Boston graduate student Jonathan Dailey. 

The Suffolk County District Attorney's office confirmed the identification around 6 p.m. on Tuesday night after a review of Dailey's dental records. 

Officials say the circumstances surrounding the death remain under investigation by State Police detectives. 

"We rule out no possibility and we promise Mr. Dailey’s family a thorough, comprehensive search for the truth as we investigate his death," said Jake Wark, spokesman for Suffolk District Attorney Dan Conley's office. 

Investigators have not yet determined the cause of death. 

Dailey's body was recovered around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning by a Boston University rowing coach near the BU Bridge. He had been reported missing a week ago. His family had issued a reward for information about his whereabouts on Tuesday.  

Dailey was a current resident of Allston, and a North Carolina native. He was attending graduate school at Boston Architectural College in Boston.
