Investigation Ongoing into Body of Man Found in Fens

Police said the man's body was discovered sitting on a bench in the Fens.

The Boston Police Department is still investigating the death of a man found in the Fens early on Tuesday morning.

Boston Police said late Tuesday night that the man's body had been sent to the medical examiner to determine the cause of death.

Police still were not able to confirm any details about the man's name or age. Police did say the man was a white male.

The unidentified man's body was found at 7:22 a.m. near 59 The Fenway on Tuesday morning.

Police quickly set up a large crime scene in the area while homicide detectives investigated.
