Man Charged With Pulling a Knife During Argument on Clearway Street

An argument on Clearway Street escalated into a potentially dangerous situation, according to police.

A Dorchester man was arrested on Tuesday evening for allegedly pulling a knife on a man inside an apartment on Clearway Street.

Boston Police responded to call at 6:30 p.m. for an argument between two men on Clearway Street that had escalated into a physical altercation.

When police arrived, the victim told them the suspect struck him several times during the argument. When the victim asked the suspect to leave, the suspect reportedly grabbed a knife out of the kitchen drawer and pointed it towards the victim.

However, the suspect reportedly said, “I won’t hurt you.” But the victim told police that's when he ran outside.
