Police: Man Jumped, Mugged Outside Our House East

A man was transported to the hospital after he was attacked in front of the Gainsborough Street bar on Thursday night.

The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Arrests do not indication convictions. 

A victim was mugged on Gainsborough Street on Thursday night, according to police. 

The victim told police that he was having a conversation outside of Our House East at 52 Gainsborough Street around 11 p.m. when he was blindsided by an unknown white male who began beating him.

The victim was transported to Beth Israel Hospital with multiple facial abrasions and two chipped front teeth, police said. 

The victim told police that he could not recall more specific details. He also reported missing $45 from his wallet.

There is no description of the suspect other than it being a white male. The investigation is still ongoing.
