PHOTOS: Brush Fire in Reeds Near Muddy River

The Boston Fire Department responded to the Fens for the third time this week.

Firefighters responded to the Fens on Thursday evening for a brush fire in the tall reeds next to the Muddy River.

Firefighters arrived at 7:24 p.m. to put out the fire in the reeds.

As of Thursday night, the Fire Department had not yet released the cause of the fire.

 This fire was the third time this week the Boston Fire Department responded to the Fens for a fire. The first was on Sunday when a man was found burned and in the river, and the second time was on Tuesday, for a man who allegedly set his clothes on fire.
