Police Interviewing Truck Driver Suspected of Hitting Bicyclist

An MIT scientist was killed on Sunday when her bicycle collided with a truck, police say.

Police believe they have found the truck driver who is suspected to have hit and killed an MIT scientist Kanako Miura while on her bike, but say the driver was not aware that he had hit anybody, the Boston Herald reported on Monday.

Boston Police tweeted on Monday afternoon that "the driver of the truck is talking to detectives and cooperating with the investigation."

Police said no charges have been pressed, and the driver's identity has not been released.
