Police Investigating Death of Boston University Student

Boston University Police said there was no sign of foul play.

 

A Boston University freshman died early Saturday morning, hours after being transported from an apartment in Allston. 

Anthony Barksdale II, an engineering student, was pronounced dead at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, according to BU Today. Boston EMS responded to 22 Wadsworth to a call shortly before 1 a.m.

The death is being investigated by Boston Police, and BU Police say there was no indication of foul play, according to BU Today.

Barksdale lived on campus and graduated from Souhegan High School in Amherst, N.H. in 2012.
