Boston Police arrested a Princeton man on Tuesday night for allegedly being in possession of prescription drugs not prescribed to him in the Northeastern University bookstore.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the Northeastern University bookstore at 360 Huntington Ave. at 3 p.m. on December 11.
Officers spoke with the caller, who stated that a person was acting suspicious while shopping in the bookstore. The suspect had been seen placing two textbooks into a bag. Officers ran the suspect’s information and discovered that there was a warrant out for his arrest out of Roxbury District Court for Uttering and Forgery.
Police arrested the suspect for the warrant. While booking the suspect, officers discovered that the suspect had 23.5 pills on him. The suspect did not have a prescription. An query revealed that the pills were Citalopram Hydrobromide, a Class E substance.
William Soske of 150 Mountain Road, Princeton, MA was arrested and charged with the outstanding warrant and Possession of a Class E Substance.
