Update: Police Looking for Motorcyclist Who Hit Pedestrian and Fled
The pedestrian was struck and suffered a serious head injury, according to public safety scanner reports.
A woman was struck by a motorcycle near 755 Commonwealth Ave., according to public safety scanner transmissions. The address is between the BU Bridge and the BU Central T stop. The driver fled the scene, according to the scanner.
The woman had been was unresponsive at the scene, according to scanner reports. She was taken to Brigham Women's Hospital with non-life-threating injuries, police said Monday.
Police are looking for the motorcycle and ask that anyone with any information about the accident call them at 617-343-4500.
