Man Falls Through Roof at MIT Frat - And He's Okay

Police said the student was jumping on a skylight and fell four stories.

An 18-year-old man fell through the roof at an MIT frat, falling four stories and landing on his back at the bottom with non-life threatening injuries, according to the Boston Police Department. 

Police said that at 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday night, they responded to the Phi Sigma Kappa MIT Frat house at 487 Commonwealth Ave. for an injured person who fell through a skylight. 

Police said the man had been jumping up and down on the plexiglass dome skylight, which broke, sending him falling four stories below. 

The man was transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital with non- life threatening injuries, police said. 

Police issued the frat several violations, including having an unlicensed roof deck, an injury violation and an alcohol violation.
