Bill Walczak, Neighbor

My name is Bill Walczak and I am running to be the next Mayor of Boston. I have spent the last 40 years in my neighborhood of Dorchester transforming my community by building partnerships and listening to residents. At 20 years old, I founded Codman Square Health Center and 13 years ago, created Codman Academy, the first school in the country located inside a health center. I was President of Carney Hospital and I am currently Vice President of Shawmut Design and Construction, where I aim to improve diverse and local hiring practices. I know what it is to create jobs and change a community because I have made it happen. I did it in Dorchester, and I will do it again as Mayor of Boston.
