Police: Assault on Woman near Fenway After Concert

A Tewksbury man was charged with assault and battery over the weekend for allegedly grabbing a woman by the throat during an argument near Fenway Park after the Jason Aldean Concert there on Saturday night.  

A Fenway Security Guard told police about a fight at about 11:42 p.m. on Saturday, July 13 on Brookline Avenue. The security guard told police that they witnessed a man push a woman into a fence.

Officers found two people arguing on Brookline Avenue. Officers noted that a woman was visibly crying. The victim told police that the man grabbed her by the throat when she tried to walk away from an argument. Officers observed redness on the victim’s neck.

Officers arrested Gabriel Testa of 19 Tomahawk Drive, Tewksbury, MA and charged him with assault and battery.
